This fire glove is good for people that have smaller hands or just want a shorter fire glove. Chiba LASER Extrication Glove- This extrication glove is very durable and lasts a long time. The Chiba LASER extrication glove is cut proof, waterproof, and blood borne pathogen proof. The glove is made out of Kevlar and with special attention paid to the thumb area, knuckles, finger tips, bridge of palm, nerve palm, and carpal tunnel / ulnar nerve. Here are some technical infopmration on the durability for the Chiba LASER extrication gloves: Resistance to Abrasion: This is based upon the number of cycles required to abrade through the glove. Level 2 - 500 cycles. Blade Cut Resistance: This is based upon the number of cycles required to cut through the glove at a constant speed. Level 3 - 5.0 factor. Tear Resistance: This is based upon the amount of force required to tear the glove. Level 3 - 50 Newtons.
